Parco Naturale Adamello Brenta

Madonna di Campiglio is at the heart of one of the most famous natural alpine beauty: the Adamello Brenta where the environment is from about 400m in height to the 3500 Summit Presanella. The oasis is located in the Rhaetian Alps (south-central sector of the Alps), more specifically in the western Trentino, covering a vast area that includes Giudicarie, Val di Non and Val di Sole, Val Rendena and the river Sarca that crosses (a branch was created just above Madonna di Campiglio) divide the group of the Brenta Dolomites and the Adamello Massif granite Presanella.

A third of the park is covered by coniferous forests that from 1800 meters above sea level give way to expanses of rock vegetation up to 2500m. A feature of the park landscape level is the diversity of geological and geomorphological massifs its host, this contrast is even more evident if we stay at high altitude on the peaks surrounding Madonna di Campiglio. Extraordinary Fauna (brown bear, deer, eagles, mountain goats, badgers, marmots and many species yet), varied and enchanting flora counts about 1500 species.

There are many valleys that make up the park and many of these around Madonna di Campiglio, Val Genova, famous for waterfalls, cliffs and inaccessible glaciers, Val Nambrone separating the Val di Genova, Val di Sole and the mountains slope down towards Madonna di Campiglio and Passo Campo Carlo Magno; Vallesinella, gateway to the Dolomites of Brenta, offers an almost "magical" Valagola, not far from Madonna di Campiglio, home to one of the waters of the Brenta, Val Brenta that opens up a vast spectacle of the cliffs and pinnacles is defined as one of "pearls" in the chest in the Park. No coincidence that Madonna di Campiglio is called the "pearl" of the Dolomites. On June 26, 2009, in Seville, UNESCO has approved the inclusion of the Dolomites in the World Natural Heritage Site.
